Westin Resort St. John

This resort has long been one of the Caribbean’s nicest, a place where guests feel like they’re being swept into paradise. Guests are transported to the resort like visiting royalty aboard a private yacht. You’ll arrive on St. John at the hotel dock, and soon be off to your room, one of 285 guest accommodations on a hillside over Great Cruz Bay.

The hotel is large and includes hillside rooms and beachside rooms (definitely our favorite; we stayed here and highly recommend it. Hillside rooms are nice but, with kids, the walk to public areas is a bit much. You can call to be picked up but it's much nicer to be able to hop right out to the pool or the sand.)
