Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa

Part of the Sandals family of resorts, this all-inclusive is a favorite with families. Located on the 12-mile beach at Grace Bay, this 453-room resort is open to singles, couples and families.

For kids, the focal point of this resort is its massive Pirates Island Waterpark which includes everything from a full-size “pirate” ship to waterslides, a kids’ pool, a self-serve ice cream machine, swim-up soda bar, diner, six big screen TVs, a jungle games room, and video center.
Like other members of the Beaches chain, this resort features Sesame Street characters in a variety of special shows and activities throughout the day (see our “Beaches and Sesame Street” sidebar.) Also, the resort has an Xbox Oasis Game Room with the latest from Xbox, EA Sports, Sega, Activision, Midway, Ubi Soft and many more. For teens, there’s also a special teen disco.

Dining includes a variety of restaurants. Reflections is the main dining room and features buffet servings of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sapodilla’s and Schooners serve adults only while families are welcome in the Arizona Bar and Grill for Tex-Mex cuisine or the Teppanyaki restaurant Kimonos, which has family seating from 6 to 7 nightly.

Watersports include snorkeling and scuba diving (a resort course is offered for all guests 12 years and older), aqua trikes, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, hobie cats, and view boards for a peek at what lies beneath the sea’s waves. Two swimming pools cool down guests once they leave the beach, and a special Toddler’s Pool and Activity area keeps young visitors happy.

Supervised Kids' Programs

Children are also kept entertained at the supervised areas. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers while the Cuda Kids Club keeps older children happy at the children’s pool, kids gazebo, playground, table tennis, pool table facilities, and at classes in everything from sandcastle building to reggae. Video game buffs will love the video game center with state-of-the-art video games (all complimentary).

Teens also have special activities including disco nights, movie nights, sports tournaments, and more.
