St. Kitts & Nevis: Getting There By Air Most visitors first arrive at St. Kitts Robert
Llewelyn Bradshaw International Airport (formerly Golden Rock Airport)
with daily jet service from the USAmerican Airlines providing daily service
from the Caribbean hub in San Juan. From St. Kitts, air service to Nevis small
Newcastle Airport is served by commuter flights from St. Kitts. Air St.
Kitts Nevis, Tel. 869/465-8571 on St. Kitts, Tel. 869/469-9064 on Nevis,
whisks visitors from island to island in less than 10 minutes. By Ship St. Kitts $16.25 million cruise ship terminal is
located in Basseterre. Visitors arrive just off Pelican Mall, a new establishment
with 26 shops that feature tropical clothing, locally made goods, and
tourist items. Kittitian architecture makes this mall different from the
typical mall you might see back home. Nevis is home to a new cruise terminal in Charlestown Harbour. By Ferry To reach Nevis, most travelers travel by ferry rather than air. Ferry service is available several times daily between the two islands aboard The Caribe Queen; the journey takes about 45 minutes. Departure is from Basseterre, St. Kitts and arrival is in Charlestown, Nevis. An excellent family option is a catamaran cruise between two islands. Back to St. Kitts & Nevis with Kids
