Beaches and Sesame Street

Beaches Resorts, after a one-year trial with Sesame Street, has signed a multi-year agreement that launches a Sesame Street sponsorship called The Beaches Resorts Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street.

The program will include appearances by Bert, Ernie, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover and Zoe at all four Beaches resorts (three in Jamaica and one in the Turks and Caicos with a fifth soon to come in St. Lucia). Twice a week, your family will be able to enjoy live stage shows created just for Beaches by the producers of Sesame Street Live. The shows have a Caribbean story line.

The resorts also have special Sesame Street themed rooms, a theme carried through in bedspreads, light fixtures, towels, and more featuring the popular characters.

At the resorts, you’ll find the characters walking around the property, ready to pose for pictures with young (and even not-so-young) guests.

Other activities include:

  • Story Time with Elmo
  • Baking Cooking with Cookie Monster
  • Learning to Dance with Zoe
  • Going Global with Grover (including nature walks and scavenger hunts)
  • Making Music with Bert and Ernie
  • Character breakfast (surcharge)
  • Themed birthday parties (surcharge)
  • Sesame Street Mailbox (kids can write their favorite character and receive a note back)
  • Letter of the Day (kids find 10 things that begin with the letter of the day and receive a prize)
  • Character parades (kids can participate, wearing costumes they created during Kids Kamp)
