Paradisus Puerto Rico Paradisus Puerto Rico is the first all-inclusive
resort in Puerto Rico. Packages begin with one of the resort's 500 suites,
all housed in low-rise, two-story buildings. Junior suites offer a combined
living and sleeping area as well as a private terrace or verandah. Cool
marble flooring leads from the living area into the marble bath, which
has a soaking tub and separate shower. All suites have an in-room safe,
coffee maker, minibar and satellite TV. Want to upgrade? Your family can be super pampered
with the Royal Service. An exclusive concierge helps book tours and answer
questions. You'll also have a private lounge, butler service, a daily
newspaper, exclusive check-in and check-out, and what has to qualify as
the dreamiest of all room amenities: a pillow menu. No more of that Princess
and the Pea feeling from sleeping on a too fluffy hotel pillow if that's
not what you want. And for pampering with plenty of elbow room, there are
five garden villas, 12 honeymoon suites and is a Presidential Suite with
its own swimming pool. Puerto Rico is well-known for its golf courses, and this
new property fits right into the island's offerings thanks to its neighboring
Coco Beach Golf and Country Club. The 48,000-square-foot ocean view clubhouse
(the Caribbeans largest) has a lawn with views of El Yunque rainforest.
Two championship courses designed by Tom Kite and Bruce Besse offer special
greens fees for resort guests as well as preferred tee times, private
lessons and storage of clubs. Landlubbers find plenty of other diversions on property: volleyball, table tennis, tennis, bicycles, billiards and more. Tel. 787/809-1770, Fax 787/809-1785. Toll-free reservations Tel. 888/95-MELIA Back to Puerto Rico with Kids
