This 65-room hotel, under Sandals management, sports a new, lively look that’s especially appealing to families.

We enjoyed a stay in one of the beachside rooms (less expensive accommodations are available across the road). Like other guests, we sunned on the hotel’s stretch of Seven Mile Beach, watching the continuous procession of traffic. Hair braiders, singers, craftsmen, and more work their way along the beachfront (although they are only permitted within a few feet of the water’s edge).
