Beaches Sandy Bay, Negril
Located along Negril’s Seven Mile Beach, families
will find everything they could need in a vacation spot at Beaches Sandy
Bay (formerly Poinciana) although this resort is not nearly as extensive
as its sister property, Beaches Negril or the Beaches Boscobel near Ocho
Rios.
This all-inclusive resort has two pools, tennis, snorkeling,
scuba diving and a fitness center. Guests have their choice of rooms ranging
from a Deluxe with one king or two double beds, with a maximum occupancy
of 4 people, to a luxurious Beachfront 2 Bedroom Suite, a two-level suite
with kitchenette, living area, a double pullout sofa, two twin beds, and
one queen bed. These suites have a maximum occupancy of 5. All guest rooms
include air conditioning, telephone, satellite television, and private
bath. Kids 2-15 stay here for a special rate and children under 2 stay
free.
The Kid’s Kamp here will the children busy all day.
Kids 4 years to teen will have a great time with arts and crafts, ice
cream parties, face painting, sand castle building, movie watching, treasure
hunts and much more. There is also a nursery for the kids under 4. Like
other members of the Beaches family, this resort features Sesame Street
characters and fun. There’s also an Xbox Oasis with all the hottest
games (and no tokens!)
Parents who are planning on taking advantage of the Kid’s
Kamp should make sure that their kids have bathing suits, sunglasses,
sunscreen, hats, extra diapers, wipes, bottles, formulas and security
objects.
Teens have their own program, which includes activities
like Reggae dancing, boat cruises, tennis clinics, karaoke, dance parties,
and movie watching.
Baby sitters are also available for an additional cost.
