Beaches Boscobel Resort and Golf Club, Ocho Rios
 Long a favorite with families (for years this was
a SuperClubs property), Boscobel is now part of the Beaches family but
still boasts many visitors who have vacationed here for generations. This
all-inclusive resort, located 10 miles east of Ocho Rios, provides guests
with free ground transfers to and from the airport.
The 224-room property has a variety of activities,
all of which are included in the cost of the stay. The resort’s Boutique
Spa has four massage rooms, sauna and steamroom, and offers massages,
reflexology, facials, aromatherapy, and a full service beauty salon pampering
everything from hair to toe. The resort also has a full fitness center,
sports like volleyball, basketball, shuffle board, tennis, and the Sandals
Golf & Country Club is not far away. Kids can join parents for complimentary
golf (Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and children
under 10 must tee off after 12 noon). Watersports range from scuba diving
and kayaking, to aqua trampolines and glass bottom boat rides. There are
four freshwater pools, and a kid’s pool with a waterslide.
Besides the kids pool, there are plenty of activities
for the kids to participate in. The Kids Kamp is open daily from 9 am
to 10 pm, and breaks the kids up into age groups: infants 0-3, toddlers
4-7, pre-adolescent 8-12, and teens 13 and older. The age groups allow
the children participate in fun and games with others in their age group,
and make some friends. There is a nursery on-site at an additional charge,
and private babysitters can also be hired for a fee.
Kids will also enjoy the Xbox Game Oasis with the
latest and greatest games at no charge. Like other resorts in the Beaches
chain, this property features the Sesame Street characters in all types
of activities and shows.
Also at the resort is a petting zoo that kids of
all ages can enjoy. Guests can interact with rabbits, goats, turtles,
pigs and chickens, and can watch the birds at the on-property aviary.
