Family-Friendly Caribbean Cruises

Cruising is a popular way to see the Caribbean and to sample several islands on one trip. Here's a look at some of the most popular family-friendly cruises in the region:

Disney Cruise Line
Disney and family travel are a natural combination; these ships welcome young travelers with open arms--and ears.

Celebrity Cruises
This premium cruise line offers the Celebrity X-Club, supervised programs for kids up to age 17.

Costa
The Costa Kids' programs accommodate young travelers out of diapers all the way to age 19. Activities range from parades and treasure hunts to fitness activities and teen discos.

Norwegian Cruise Line
America’s Kid’s Crew™ (ages 2-12) and Teen’s Crew™ ( 13-17) programs offer a variety of age-appropriate activities. Younger travelers enjoy pajama parties and crafts while teens have pool parties and a teen disco.

Carnival Cruise Lines
Camp Carnival is the name of the year-around supervised kids' program on this cruise line, welcoming kids ages 2-14.

Holland America Cruise Line
Club HAL® offers supervised fun for kids ages 3-17 with kids, tweens, and teens programs.

Princess Cruises
This cruise line (you know them from the Love Boat) offer youth centers for ages 3-17; some ships also offer a toddlers' play area. The Teen Center keeps teens busy with karaoke, movies, and more.

Royal Caribbean International
This cruise line offers the Adventure Ocean® Youth Programs for kids ages 3-17 with lots of activity for all ages. Fisher Price playgroups entertain young travelers age six to 36 months (a parent or caregiver must accompany the child to these playsessions) while potty trained kids from age three can participate in Adventure Ocean up through age 17.
