Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman

Note: At this time, only the beachside rooms of the Hyatt Regency were open due to damage from Hurricane Ivan.

One of Grand Cayman’s most beautiful resorts, the Hyatt is not located directly on the beach but does offer its guests use of a private beach club across the street with full watersports. You may recognize parts of this resort from the movie The Firm (it’s the place where the characters played by Gene Hackman and Tom Cruise stayed).

The 289-room hotel includes many levels of rooms and suites plus luxury villas. Landscaping as beautiful as a botanical garden, the hotel flows from a great main house to grounds dotted with royal palms and ponds filled with colorful koi, and a freeform swimming pool, complete with bridges and pool bar.

All rooms include air-conditioning, mini-bar, satellite TV, coffee makers, telephones, and more. Resort facilities include numerous restaurants, private beach club, pool and hot tub, dive shop, 24-hour room service, watersports, dive shop, golf, health club, beauty spa, and more.

Special Family Features

This hotel is also home to Camp Hyatt, the supervised children’s program for toddlers (potty trained) to 12-year-olds. Camp activities include day activities with everything from arts and crafts to visits to local sites such as the Cayman Turtle Farm and Rum Point. Night activities (from 6-10pm) include miniature golf, Caribbean limbo, table tennis, and movies.
