Caribbean Time Zones The Caribbean straddles two time zones. The western islandsJamaica
and Caymanfall in the Eastern time zone, the same as the east coast
of the US. The eastern islands fall in the Atlantic time zone, one
hour ahead of Eastern time. Also, many islands do not observe Daylight Savings Time. During the summer months, the western islands are the same as the Central time zone; the eastern islands the same as the Eastern time zone. Back to Caribbean FAQ
