Little Dix Bay, Virgin Gorda We have fond memories of our stay at Little Dix:
lazing beneath a palm palapa, snorkeling just offshore, enjoying our rondoval
guest room with a wonderful view in every direction, dining outdoors to
the music of whistling tree frogs. Apparently plenty of other families also have good
memories of Little Dix; it boasts a wonderful repeat business. Many customers
have been coming since the days Laurance Rockefeller first developed this
property in 1964. Today the hotel still has the same attention to service
as it did in its Rockresort days; youll find that the ratio of employees
to guests is one to one. The resort, for all its comforts and old Caribbean
style, is also family friendly, allowing one children under the age of
16 to stay free when rooming with a parent. The resort also offers the
Childrens Gove supervised program, aimed at children ages 3 to 12.
The program activities include treasure hunts, kitemaking, iguana searches,
and local crafts. The program has two levels, ages 3 to 6 and 7 to 12.
Programs for younger children include sand candle making and seashell painting while older kids learn tennis and kayaking. The resort also offers special activities for teenagers. Back to BVI with Kids
