Sheraton Grand Bahama Named as Top Beach Resort

Comparing over 200 resorts, Parents Magazine has named Grand Bahama Island Our Lucaya Resort as the number one beach resort for families in its May issue.

POTD: Ardastra Gardens, Nassau, Bahamas

On the island of New Providence just outside Nassau, Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Center is home to nearly 300 animals and birds, many from the Caribbean. The Marching Flamingos have long been the star of the show at Ardastra and they perform in shows three times per day.

POTC: Abaco's Shallow Waters

In the clear, shallow waters surrounding Abaco, it's easy to see the origin for the name Bahamas. "Baha Mar" or "shallow water" was an appropriate description for these islands which are surrounded by shallow water perfect for family swimming.
