Cayman Summer Splash 2009 Announced

The Cayman Islands has announced its very family-friendly program: Cayman Summer Splash which offers kids the chance to fly, eat, stay and play free at some of the islands’ best attractions including Sea School, the Cayman Turtle Farm at Boatswain’s Beach, the QEII Botanic Park, and a wide variety of watersports.

Kids Fly Free: Kid’s Fly Free is an addition this year to the program. Children 11 years and under will fly free on round-trip air fares from any Cayman Airways gateway city (NYC, Miami, and Tampa).

Accommodations (hotels and condos): Book 5 nights, pay for 4. Kids stay free in room with adult. Participating accommodations include: condos and villas on-island and hotels including Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, Cobalt Coast Resort, Compass Point, and Comfort Suites, The Reef Resort, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, and Westin Casuarina Resort and Spa, and others.

Car Rental: Look for 15% to 25% off rentals at participating rental companies.

Restaurants: Kids eat for free from the children’s menu when one adult pays for their meal at participating restaurants.

Attractions: At specified attractions, kids enter free with an accompanying adult.

Families can pre-purchase a dive package and receive 50% off all diving for children (ages 12-18) when diving with a full paying adult; 50% off night dive with a purchase of a four-day dive package; and 50% off for kids (12-18) on Discover Scuba Diving.

Skate Cayman: Skate Cayman, a new internationally-recognized skateboard camp at Black Pearl Skate & Surf Park, will bring top skateboarders from around the globe to teach budding skaters their craft. This is the first world class Skate camp program in the Caribbean!
