Morgan's Island Water Park Opens In Aruba

Making quite a splash with its grand opening in late 2008, Morgan's Island on the island of Aruba is not only the largest water park in the Caribbean, but also in all of Latin America. Its 28,000 sq. ft. of fun features attractions for aquatic adventurers, including a dual slide dubbed Dragon Revenge and the second tallest waterslide on the planet-- a 21-meter vertical plunge that's the treasure of Buccaneer Tower.

Along with giant double wave pools and a game parlor for tweens and teens, little sprouts will be entertained by the water spouts in the giant, zero-entry children's pool.

Aside from all of the aquatic excitement, patrons can also indulge themselves with a pirate-themed meal at the Black Pearl self-service restaurant or the Jack Sparrow Bar, then purchase a souvenir of their stay at the El Corsario gift shop.

Having celebrated its grand opening in early December 2008, Morgan's Point water park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6p.m.
