POTD: Annaberg Ruins, St. John, USVI

Annaberg is home to the ruins of one of over two dozen sugar plantations that once thrived on the island of St. John in the US Virgin Islands. Today these ruins are open to the public and administered by the National Park Service. Your family can tour the ruins on your own for a look back at St. John's history and some great oceanviews from this perch as well. (A tip from us: bring insect repellent! Depending on the time of year you visit, this area can be plagued with sand flies.)
