Malaria Update for Great Exuma, Bahamas

The Islands of the Bahamas official website is reporting that the malaria transmissions on Great Exuma Island (down in the southern Bahamas) has been interrupted. Only a small number of malaria cases were reported earlier this month. A CDC alert was issued on June 16. You can read more about the situation and its update on the Bahamas.com website. No cases were reported in Nassau, Grand Bahama Island or any other of the Islands of the Bahamas.
