Carnival Cruise Lines Offering Lower Prices Than Last Year

Although gas prices have risen, Carnival Cruise Lines is pointing out that it is offering rates up to 20 percent lower than last year.

The Caribbean remains the most popular cruise destination with big values on short cruises (five days or less) within the region, with prices starting at $229 per person. Week-long Caribbean cruises start at $449 per person. Carnival's "Fun Ships" depart from 18 different North American homeports.
