Fairmont Southampton Princess Hotel This luxury resort stands on a hill above the sea with views of the island. The large resort includes golf, a spa, and a beach club for its guests. The resort also includes
many family-friendly features. Explorers Camp Bermuda, located in
the Lower Lobby, offers activities and educational tours for kids. The
program is complimentary with just a transportation fee for activities
located off the property. We designed the program so families can
have a vacation to treasure, explained Jerome Swainson, Guest Services
Manager. At Explorer Camp, parents can join in or if they want adult
time out, they can leave the kids with us and know they are going
to be well looked after and have a great time! The program is year around
and offers three age groups: Tree Frogs (4 - 6 years), Longtails (7 -
9 years), Sharks (10 - 12) and Navigators (13 and up). Activities range
from beach volleyball, cricket, and soccer to scavenger hunts, rock climbing,
beach bonfires, and theme parties. The Explorer Camp also has a computer
lab and science center with microscopes and a reading lab with headsets.
pool sports, badminton, basketball and croquet. The Camp also takes young visitors on excursions around the island with visits to sites such as the Bermuda Aquarium, zoo, Royal Naval Dockyard, Maritime Museum, Crystal and Grotto Caves, and more. In the evenings, kids
age 7 and over can take part in the 7-Up Club, another complimentary program
