Almond Beach Village, Barbados

The Village caters to both couples and families. A children’s program keeps the little ones happy while the two of you play a round of nine-hole golf, enjoy watersports right on property, or just lounge around the long expanse of sand.

The Kid’s Club is set in the Village’s Family Entertainment Center on the southern edge of the property. Here 64 guest rooms are specially reserved for family travelers and swimming pools, a playground, an ice cream shop, a pizza parlor, a restaurant with a special kids’ menu and more make even the youngest traveler feel welcomed. Registration in the Kid’s Club is complimentary as part of the all-inclusive program, whether families are staying within the Family Entertainment Center or elsewhere on the property.

The Kid’s Club Nursery is for children up to the age of four, with a child to caregiver ratio of three to one. The nursery is open from 9am to 5pm daily, closed for the lunch hour. Kids five and up enjoy various activities appropriate to their age.

With a child to caregiver ratio of 12 to one, school-age children are grouped from 5 to 7 and 8 to 12. Child fun includes board games, a mini-pool table, VCR, Jukebox, and Foozeball. Outside the center, supervised fun includes watersports, arts and crafts, beach games, on-site nature walks, storytime, treasure hunts, and more. Parents can enroll children in the program for all or part of a day or just for a single activity. Children can also be escorted to lunch or dinner by Kid’s Club staff while parents enjoy a meal out.

Almond Beach takes special care with child safety. Children are supervised by staff at all times. Playrooms are kept locked and children in the Kid’s Club are returned only to an adult known by the children or one previously identified as a family member or friend.

The Family Plan for both single and two parent families permits the first child under 16 to stay free when traveling with one or two paying adults (except for standard rooms).
