Currency. The currency is the Bahamian dollar, equivalent to the US dollar. US dollars are widely accepted.

Driving. Driving is on the LEFT side of the road.

Electricity. The current is 120 volts.

Language. English, with a Bahamian lilt, is spoken throughout the Bahamas islands.

Time. The islands are in the Eastern time zone. From April through October, daylight savings time is observed.
